What advice would you give to your past self when you were just starting your research journey?
Be patient and open minded. UCI has so many research opportunities and such a vibrant research culture that it’s all about finding the right opportunity and taking advantage of the resources that we are given. Also, there are so many benefits to doing research and the amount of effort and time that you put into your research is how much you’ll take away. Whether you put in a lot or a little, research is a great way to immerse yourself into UCI’s academic depth and engage in fun and creative projects!
