In what ways have your undergraduate students made a significant impact on your work?
Visual art is most powerful when thrown open to interpretation. My favorite method for testing the impact of a work of art is showing it to UCI students and tracking their diverse responses. Every class and conversation is a valuable experiment in reception and interpretation. The thoughts students articulate allow me to see how the objects of my research perform in real time.
