2024 Fall Project Pitch Challenge

UROP’s Fall Project Pitch Challenge offers undergraduate researchers the chance to present a dynamic three-minute oral presentation of their research project or creative activity. This competition gives students the opportunity to share the importance of their project in a concise, engaging and inspirational way.

To enter the competition, create a 3-minute video presentation that demonstrates the significance of your project and its meaning to you. The students who submit the best videos will be invited to compete in a live, in-person final round during the week of October 14 (exact day, time and location to be announced soon).

Application and Video Submission Deadline: Monday, September 16, 2024. Application will open in mid-August.

      • Audience: All are welcome to attend the event! Students, friends, family, and UCI faculty and staff are encouraged to join and watch all presentations.
      • Dress Code:
        • Student presenters will be in business casual
        • Guests are welcome as they are!
      • Food and Drink: Light refreshments will be available at the social hour
