2025 Fall Project Pitch Challenge
Project Pitch Overview
UROP’s Fall Project Pitch Challenge offers undergraduate students the chance to present a dynamic three-minute oral presentation of their research project or creative activity. This competition gives students the opportunity to share the importance of their project in a concise, engaging, and inspirational way. Presentations will be from a variety of disciplines.

- Location: TBA
- Audience: All are welcome to attend! Students, friends, family, faculty and staff are encouraged to come and watch.

Here is a tentative schedule for fall 2025:

Student Presenter Application and Guide
Undergraduate students who wish to present should read the 2024 Project Pitch Student Presenter Information Guide before applying to learn about application and presentation requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
- UCI undergraduate student enrolled through at least Fall quarter 2024 in good academic standing
- Participated in a faculty-mentored research project or creative activity during the last year or summer
- Must be an individual presentation with only one entry per student. Students participating in group projects may submit individual entries.
Students who wish to apply must include the following in their application (see the Project Pitch Guide for details):
- Applicant Information: Name, Major, Contact info
- Faculty Mentor Information: Name, School, Dept
- Presentation Information: Description and 3-minute audition video
